U8 Renegades Program
Selects Hockey has an extensive network of elite players across North America and Europe. Our U8 Program is designed as an introductory program based on skill development and a competitive enviroment.
Our program includes 10 skills and development sessionsand and an optional tournament participation program. Some of the U8 Players my be invited to participate in the Steveston Meltdown Tournament participating in the 2006 boys division

Coach Brendan Metz
Brendan has over 30 years of combined playing and coaching experience ranging from Tyke to Pro. He played ‘AAA’ throughout minor hockey and continued to play in the BCJHL and received opportunities to play NCAA Division 1 including Brown University. Brendan has been an instructor at Pacific Elite Hockey Schools and a coach with the Steveston Sharks. He is currently a NCCP certified head coach with the Richmond Ravens, earning BC Hockey Association of the Year 2012 and Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association of the Year award 2011; and is an instructor at the Richmond Oval High Performance Programs. Brendan is approachable and has great enthusiasm for players of all ages.
